This is a vintage Sierra S10, black mica w/3x4 that is from the early 1980's. I am listing this for a friend who has never played, but got this guitar new. It has no time on it whatsoever! Needs some cleaning, polishing and such, but a solid "near new" guitar. No case. Asking $800 plus actual shipping.

This a great deal!
For any of you newbies thinking of buying a Carter Starter or other student guitar, consider this one. It is a pro guitar for an amazing price.
Believe me, I built these guitars @ Sierra during the late '70's. They are easy to work on and designed to last a lifetime!!! |

David, You just got an exellent guitar. I have one like it but it is rosewood finish. They will last a lifetime. I have owned several new Shobuds, Dekley, Miller custom, Mullen, Nashville Ltd. and ZB Custom. It sounds, stays in tune as good if not better than most of them.
I think that most players steer clear of them just because they don't have the look of a shobud or Emmons. Great guitar.

Ohhhhhhhhhh man you guys missed out, this guitar was so new that even the rubber feet looked like they were just installed. My brother is just starting to learn and I loaned him a real nice MSA S10 and was going to swap him to this and even told him about it but I'm going to have to hoard it for myself, sorry bro. |
