I have a friend who has a multi chord and wants to know the year/years they were made and some history about them. Also a ballpark figure on what they are worth. THis one is in great shape. Has all the parts. In the picture there is one cable missing. Has that cable, it's just not attached. Also has the ultra cool red wah button. Will be moving to for sale section.

Larry, just use the Search function above and search for Multi-Kord. They've been discussed to death.

Make sure you spell it right, though... it's a Harlin Brothers Multi-Kord. Wink

I have one exactly like that one -- 6 pedal 6 string. I bought it new around 1962 from Jay Harlin.

The cables and the "I" bolts under the changer have been changed on the one pictured here and are not original.

I have seen these go for from $250 to around $400.
When it was new it was in the $200.00 range.

Harlin Bros. were in business into the early 80's.

In looking closely again at the underneath side of the changer and where the folding legs attach you will notice a gold colored tube and then an aluminum leg with a screw holding it to the gold tube.

The original legs on this model were anodized gold colored aluminum. The legs on this one are not original either.

You will notice on 3 of the pedals behind where the cables attach and directly over the shaft where the pedals attach it looks like a repair of some kind has been made with possibly a plate and 2 screws. That also is not original.
