I have decided it is time to move to a pedal steel. I have been putting this off for some time, partly over concerns that the guitar would never pay for itself. But, I've wanted to do this for 35 years and I feel better prepared to face the challenge than ever before.
I will have to thin the herd to finance the move so, I will be posting my Lapking Rodeo 8, Martin HD-35 and Fender Strat in the F/S section later today. I will be in Nashville in a couple of weeks, is there anywhere I need to go other than Bobbe Seymour's store?

I don't think you need to break the bank in order to play steel. You can have one for between 1 and 2 thousand that is of good quality - even for a D10. With patience, you can get a great deal. |

Thanks for the input Chris. One reason I am selling stuff is so I can keep the bank out of this. LOL! |

Hey Stephen,
Just attend the TSGA later this week and take your pick of several brands of pedal steel guitars. It only takes about $500. to get a guitar made to order.

Two good ideas. Unfortunately my teaching and playing schedules will keep me from making the show but, I can drop Billy Carr a line. Thanks guys.
