Both amps have similar wattage, but the Pv has a 15" speaker. Do they have comparable tone? I have a Crate SS amp that I can't stand, I'd like to get rid of it and get either a DR or DB. |

Is this for lap steel or pedal steel (or both)? The Fender Deluxe Reverb is the standard against which all other amplifiers are measured. If I had to choose between the two, I'd choose the Deluxe Reverb (and I like the Delta Blues just fine). _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

They are light years apart in tone... Not better or worse, just very different voicings.. IMHO, the Deluxe is a much better steel amp. _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

I've owned them both, and the Fender gets my vote. If a music store near you has a Custom Vibrolux (2x10) you might A-B that with a Deluxe Reverb. I prefer two 10's to a 12, but that's a matter of taste. _________________ www.tomgraymusic.com |
