The steel on both the black and white and laminate flooring (in Crowbear's pics) was mine. Bought froma Music Go Round, when I lived in Chicago.
I sold it last year, to a dealer in Paris. A lovely instrument but I gigged it too rarely (and then in rough bars etc) so I felt it was better to sell it.
I hope somebody, somewhere is going out and playing it. Maybe someday I'll be in a club in Paris and see it being played...actually, I've just remembered that I played a gig in Paris using said steel. Small world, etc. |

I have this one, as well as the one above with the 185 amp. It's not the best sounding guitar that I own, but it's one of 90 that were made and I have a matching 6 string to go with it. The fact that there were only 90 of them gives it an exclusivity.

I think the prewar guitar sounds better. Which doesn't mean that the Century 10 sounds bad. The C10 has a good bite.
If your looking for something that sounds fabulous, get a Clinesmith. It's my current favorite lap guitar. |

Gibson did make such an intrument. From the photograph that was published, it appeared to be set up as a six string tuning and a seven string tuning on the same neck/fretboard. This was not a double neck guitar. |
