Never thought I would sell it but Grand daughter's hospital bills are stacking up. This is one more super axe. It's a beautiful color set up in the Day mode and plays like a dream. George L's E66 PUP really makes the guitar produce. A unique setup on LKV, fully adjustable. Will post pictures tonight when the wife brings my camera back home from work. Will take the first $1500 that comes across the board with $35 bucks shipping anywhere in the 48. Don't miss this one. 1st come 1st served either by forum bid or email fjshannon1@suddenlink.net. Time date of correspondence used.
Edited: I erred, this guitar has the George L 10-1. My other MSA has the George L E66. Aint old age hell?
Looks like it weighs an even 40 lbs.

Fred
I have seen this, played this, and heard Mr Tilley play this guitar, and like all MSA guitars Reese Anderson builds, they are quite possiblly one of the finest guitars made.
Nice tone and plays soooo smooth.
When I saw this guitar it was like new at Mr Tilleys house.
Reese Anderson considers these guitars like family or more so like his children.
$1500.00 for a MSA. UNBELIEVEABLE...

If the economy was not kickin my butt I would have it right back here in the Dallas area.

I was gonnna trade my D-10 polished 2 tone Carter for it 2 years ago when Mr Tllley was considering changing..My Carter was worth at least $2000.00 at the time.
I HAVE SEEN THESE SELL FOR $2700.00 ON EBAY.
It won't last long Fred.

I think these sell for over $3000.00 new.
Hand in there.

I have an MSA D-10 Classic setup as Standard Emmons Tuning, but would love to have a lighter version to lug around.

How difficult is it to change the tuning setup?

Also, any guess on it's weight?

Thanks,
Jon

Guys, this is the guitar. It's in the Day tuning and to change to an Emmons I would think you would only have to reverse the A and C pedal and both are pulling two strings so it would seem a matter of relocation the changer pull rods; pretty simple task. But I would also think that change might warrant a knee lever change or two. Don't know. I have Jr. Knight do all my stuff. This guitar is the Super Small (SS) that Charlie had and I met him in Dallas and picked it up. It's in good shape, case is good and I'll get the pics up sometime tonight.(THE PICS ARE UP ON THE FIRST POST)

Edited to Add: BTW the guitar is raised 1 full inch at the pedal rods. Easy to change back though.

Phred. I'll also weigh it in the case and out tonight. Beautiful axe.

Let me tell you something about this guitar. The pickup is one selected by Bud Carter for that guitar. It came to me with a single coil and I asked Bud to send me the pickup that would do this guitar justice and he did. It is a George L 10-1 SS and man what a sound.

Fred you are a rotten guy!!!!!!!!! Why did you have to do this? It makes me want to sell something and buy it back. I have owned that guitar twice already.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!You buy this and your wife will never see you again (unless she comes in where you are sitting playing it.) MY LIPS ARE SMACKIN' but I will have to stay with my EXCEL.

Guitar is sold to Ted Nesbitt in Ireland, pending payment. I'll finally get to meet Ted at the Dallas show in March. Thanks for all who inquired and say a prayer for the Grand daughter if you see fit. We need 'em.
