Great photos, Bill!! Congratulations to the Shriner gang: Jerry, James, Jug, Don, Ronnie, the great food committee!!!! Ladies, awesome banana pudding, Chili and cornbread!!

The surprise guest - Mike Bagwell!! The most surprised guest was Steve Gambrell, who was wearing a t-shirt that said "No, I did NOT bring Mike Bagwell!"

Great to see everyone - and all the money goes to a wonderful cause. We all thank you for caring for our precious children!!

The most confused guest--STEVE GAMBRELL, who was given directions, and the t-shirt, by Ms. Dodd. The shirt was easy to understand!
Jerry and the rest of the guys did a great job putting on the show, and it's always fun getting to say "Hello" to Larry Moore. Tommy, Bill, Roger---man, you folks are cool!
Always an honor to play guitar with Mike, and Woody Ledford is as tasty as they get.
Brett Day's new GFI not only looks great, but it sounds good, too---and his singing is wonderful.
An all-around good day, with good music, good fellowship, good fun, and all for a good cause!

No need to double-click to enlarge. Just click on "Slide Show" and go from there.
No conspiracy - but if you did join (which is free), it is free also to store all your photos, and your friends' who send you a link through Ofoto. I've been a member for years.

Yeah, and still have room to park your car!
And of course it was an old LTD---you think there's any NEW LTD's out there???
To think, when I bought my first steel, you're the first person I called---I sure am glad you had Charles Reece's phone number!

Steve,Charles had made me mad about something. so that's why I gave you his number.

To drift back towards topic. Can Mike Bagwell still play? Did he blow up his old amp.Did he trash it at the end of the show?Does he secertly crave a new Nashville 112 and just can't do any better?Details folks.

EDIT: I'm sorry I forgot what thread I was on.Great pics Bill and thanks for sharing.

Thanks Bobby. I’m glad to share the pics. If anyone wants copies contact me.

Apologies to those I didn’t get a shot of. I was setting up myself when Brett played and missed Mr. Ernie and couple others at the beginning.

Sorry Roger but your serious shot was blurry. You have to work with what you have!

Yes Roger, it was a great day for me too. Besides hearing and visiting with all the usual suspects, I got to hear Mike Bagwell (a first for me) and meet the “tell Larry hi” guy. And, I got to do some tunes with Dad on the fiddle. AND have Rob Parker and Gerry Hall sing!

Best of all, Braswell says we cleared about $1200 for the Hospital. That’s consistent with previous shows. So the new big room just made it look like attendance was a little off and there’s plenty of room to grow!

Now to cap all that fun, my day job has me in Phoenix and Albuquerque this week and I’m going to listen to Mike Smith tomorrow night! ....

Bill,
Good pictures. A real good picture of Howard. It was a fun day, with some good fellowship, making some great memories. I am now looking forward to next year. Maybe we can talk Mike in to coming and being a part of the line up next year. So guys start talking to him now. Thanks Mike for taking the time to share with all of your fans. Thanks to all you wonderful players that made this day possible.

Ernie,
It was great seeing you, Nan and Belinda again. My, you do lead a busy life, don't you? Is that what keeps you looking so young and handsome? We all really appreciate you bringing your friends and driving so far round-trip. You had a nice set, Ernie!! And thanks again for buying me lunch!!
Love,
Donna (and Patsy)

Did anybody get a pix of Brett Day's new GFI? What a beautiful guitar!!
Brett, your singing was a real treat - as was your playing! We are so proud of you!

It was also refreshing to see Chris Lasher take the stage for the first time at a steel show. You do know that now you are EXPECTED to play!!

Very nice show with some exceptional touches!!

Brett,
Now that you have shown everyone that you can sing, it will be expected out of you each time. Your new guitar was nice and you used it in the way it needed to be used, pickin' and singin'. It was good to see you and hear you play. Keep it up pal. You are well on your way to having your own fan club.

Ernie, When do you have time for fun with all that you are involved in. It appears that you have something to do all the time. Enjoyed you being at the show. Thanks for bringing all the folks with you. It was good seeing and hearing you play. I'm sure I will see you again before next years show.

Donna, thanks for all the support that you gave me. I know I leaned on you and was down alot. Thanks for helping me back up and giving me those word of encouragment. I appreciate all that you and Roger did.. Thanks.

See you next time

Jerry
