Hi All,
I need only two parts to finish my Stringmaster. Click here to see the ad in the Wanted to Buy section.

Does anyone have any leads on where such parts may be found ?

Any and all help is much appreciated, I've been waiting for these last parts to show up for over a year now and I'm starting to get desperate. Winking

Thanks,
Jonny G.

Did you see the nearby post on the Ebay red Stringmaster? Get busy!

You may have to get someone to make you the mounting ring and fretboard. Unless you luck into a part somewhere from a otherwise useless Stringmaster, it's going to be next to impossible to find those parts.
Good luck on your search, though.

Thanks for the Good Luck Brad, and I think you're right that it could take forever to find these parts.

However, patience is a virtue in these things. I started off with a bare second neck off a 53/54 Triple or Quad in 2007 and now I only need the two parts to have a complete single 26" Stringmaster (the guitar Leo never made).

On the other hand, I'm stalled at this point and I'm depending on "the kindness of strangers." You have to think that someone's got these parts for spares and I'm hoping that they'll realized that Gee, my fretboards aren't going to wear out so maybe I'll sell my spare one.

I'm kind of hoping that someone knows someone who knows someone etc. and the word will get out. After all, there are at most only 7 degrees of separation between people so I think I have a fair chance.

Regards,
Jonny G.

John,
Is it going to look like this when you're done?
I wasn't quite finished with it when the picture was taken.

Please email me.

Hi Erv,
Yup, my guitar looks just like yours except it's a beautiful honey colour and I'm going to leave it that way. It's strung up at the moment and I've been fooling with it. It's quite good fun despite the fact that it is "fretless" ;-) at the moment.
Regards,
Jon

Did the email exchange between you and Chris not work out, or is there some other reason you're bumping this to the top again? Smile

Good luck again.
