This is an official announcement!

Due to high demand after the closing announcements, stock is depleted to where Buddy is closing the store a few days earlier than anticipated. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Buddy thanks you for your support over the years!

SO YOU KNOW: I will still offer the Black Shirts and will likely be adding another product or two as time goes by.

I went to log on to buddyemmons.com just now and my Firefox reported it as an attack site.
What's happening?

The buddyemmons.com website has been exploited with multiple exploit codes and redirects. If you visit the website with JavaScript enabled you may become infected and will probably join a botnet.

As this website is visited by many of our members I thought you should know about the problem in advance, rather than by finding out the hard way.

I am notifying the webmaster about this and will post back here when the website has been cleansed and secured.

Ernie,

Do you have the existing content backed up? Do you and Buddy have any interest in archiving it elsewhere on the net?

thanks,
Drew

This may not be popular with anyone here on the Forum, but I think it is sad that Buddy has decided to "ride off into the sunset" when he still has the world to offer and enjoy. I too lost my wife some 6 years ago, and though I still have a hole in my heart that will never heal, I have the memories. It was because of my Linda that I chose to begin learning the pedal steel, since one of her favorite songs was Ann Murray's "Could I Have This Dance". I was fortunate enough to get the chance to meet and have a good conversation with JayDee, having learned it was he who played the psg on this recording. Music and the psg in particular, has been my best therapy. May Buddy find solace in his God-given talent and the joy he has brought to countless others.

Ernie, I have a tape version of Emmons E 9 Chord Dictionary ,but no book,at least none that I can find. While listening to the tape again this last week, I think he made a reference to "the book"

Does a book (tab) come with that program or was I imagining things? If so I will place an order for the CD version and the tab before you shut down.

thanks louie

I have been listening and feel the playing by Buddy since 84.I'll never stop doing that. His loss of his wife is so great,I don't have the words.

Dennis Lee.
What a beautiful post. After that reading that one,I can shutter down ,and go to bed.

My wife is terminal.Seems that I already miss her
in the last few months we have together.

I have always felt, since I first heard him play,
that he was a Big,Big man.

I, too, thank Buddy for all the incredible music and instructional material he's provided over the decades and Ernie for the Emmons site. I also hope Buddy can play more of those happy tunes with other musicians now, when he needs them the most. steve t
