1979 Emmons P/P 8 & 5 serial number 2589 or 88 D. Gone over by our local P/P guru Lynn Stafford. this guitar has George L 66's, other than that it is completely original. Local great player Larry Behm checked it out for neck comparrison and say's both necks are equal in sound, which is really good. I guess many are not according to Larry. Guitar is a 9.5 in my book. Standard Emmons setup. PRICE CHANGE, SOLD

This guitar is indeed a keeper, it has sustain for a week and with Lynn Staffords tweeking it plays great.

Older PP's have nothing on this guitar, I would have bought it but I do not think I can get enough out my 66 to cover it as it has been a working guitar for years and looks the part.

This guitar looks show room ready.

Thanks Dave for letting Bryan and I try it out.

Dave is a straight shooter when it comes to buying and selling, you can not go wrong dealing with him.

I should mention the only reason Brian didn't purchase this guitar is that he decided to go with a fully restored Sho Bud by Lynn Stafford which I would have probably made that same choice. It's like I'm offering a hot dog while Lynn is offering T-bones if you know what I mean. Those Stafford resto's are something to behold. Cheers to all.

Dave, I beg to differ. A clean, smooth operating P/P can never be considered a "hotdog" while being compared to any other guitar. The Emmons P/P is the "T-bone" of tone.

Hi Tony,

I enjoyed our phone conversation a few days ago! This really is a nice Emmons, in my opinion. No issues come to mind as I recall.

Here are a few photos that were sent to me by the previous owner.

Lynn and I have nothing to gain or loose with the sale of this guitar other than we can verify that it is a nice unit and that Dave Kellog is a stand up guy.

And might I say....Larry was "Picking The Pockets" that night! Very Happy Hey Dave...how the heck are ya? I'm lovin' the N400 you sold me. My restored Sho Bud Super Pro sounds GREAT through the 400. When I go to practice, I just sit and stare at it for 5 minutes before I even play a note! Laughing BEAUTIFUL restoration job by Lynn Stafford. Anyway, somebody's got to bite on this P/P you have for sale...that thing sounds and feels great!
