This is a great sounding vintage overdrive, good for driving the front end of a tube amp or warming up and getting some grind out of a solid state rig. Similar to tube screamer or bad monkey, great with a tele/fender amp combo or for some drive on your steel. $40 shipped

I have one of these! I think they're the best for getting a Dwayne Allman slide guitar sound on a pedal or lap steel, very easy to use and adjust....JH in Va.

Hey Mark, does the pedal come with AC adapter or is it battery only?

Hey, Wade, it's pretty easy on batteries, I've never used an adapter but any ol' 9 volt adapter should do the trick. It has a 1/8" adapter jack.

I have one and love it, if I didn't have boxes full of stuff I'd get it as a backup... DOD morphed into Digitech, and I just won another Digitech overdrive pedal (hint: you have to enter contests if you want to win them). The old DOD pedals are great, the graphic EQ's and compressors also. You can buy a Boss GE-7 for $100 and spend $50 quieting it up, or buy a DOD for $30 on Ebay with the same grade of components as the Boss upgrade.

However, that 1/8" power plug does require an adapter for a normal power supply, 1 Spot makes 'em and Elderly sell 'em:

Still a great OD at a great price.
