Most days, I get profoundly bored by the ubiquitous singer-songwriters who are oozing confessional pablum all over Boston's folk radio station. But once in a while you come across a unique artist whose talent really moves you as soon as you hear them. Real talent is rare but I know it when I hear it.

There are a lot of clips on YouTube of Victoria's songs; beautiful voice and feel on the uke and her "mouth trumpet" is really quite amazing.

Very cool--I was just on the phone with her and think she will be coming out in December to record the tracks for her next record at our studios using members of the Boulder Acoustic Society...love her stuff....

She is an incredibly well-rounded artist. Check out other videos of her, there are tons on youtube.

Her vibrato offends me! Seriously now, she has good feel and goo chops but her stuff doesn't move me the way some of Vox's does. Apples & oranges, that's what makes horse races, in the eye of the beholder, etc.
