Not only the Gibson banjo is for sale, but also a Weissenborn lap steel, a National Grand Console D 8 lap steel, and a very special Boen steel on legs, - sort of a prototype. Also a Mosrite brassrail guitar.
Pictures of all items are on the Ebay listing that Rick refers to.
Tom had a collection of personal instruments which are all very well kept(I have seen them), and this is a good opportunity to get a guitar with a history.

B0b, - I apologize for mentioning Ebay, but since these instruments belonged to Tom Brumley, I hope for forgiveness.

Definitely a cool guitar and great provenance BUT these guitars have VERY thin/small necks, to the point that they can be difficult to get used to (unless all your guitars have small/thin necks, I guess). Still, nice t see one in unmolested condition.

Bobbe, the interesting part is that Tom Brumley owned banjos, when banjos are such a running joke here on them forum. Now, this was a Gibson RB-100. It's more of a beginners banjo. They didn't have a tone ring like the Mastertones, etc...that most of the pro players play.

Five miles from the outer marker, maintain 3000 till established on the localizer, cleared for the approach. Contact tower one two one point six five.

Smile
