For those (admittedly few) who might be interested, I have a few more concert dates coming up.

BALTIMORE

In early October I’ll be in Baltimore for the High Zero Music Festival which will be held at “Theatre Project” which is located at 45 West Preston Street, on the corner of Preston and Cathedral streets, across Cathedral Street from the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

On Thursday night, Sept. 30th, 8:30 PM, I’ll perform with Joe McPhee (reeds, pocket trumpet) and Dan Breen (multi-instrumentalist),

Friday Night, Oct 1st, it will be me with Jack Rose (guitar) and Kristen Toedtman (violin, voice).

Saturday night, October 2nd , 8:30 PM, I’ll play again with Joe McPhee and also Joe
Karen Stackpole (gongs, percussion) and Le Quan Ninh (percussion),

LONDON, UK

The weekend of the November 5-7, I’ll be in London performing (11/6) at the Museum of Garden History, Lambeth (just south of Waterloo Station) for the London Musicians Collective’s 13th Annual Festival of Experimental Music. http://www.l-m-c.org.uk/

If anyone in the Steel Guitar Forum is able to make it out to one of these concerts, I’d love to see you and meet you. Please say hello.

Thanks,
Susan Alcorn

Susan;

All the best on your upcoming performances; I enjoyed the (albeit brief) write-up you received in the Nashville Scene this summer.

One of these days I hope to be able to make it to one of your performances.

Just a little . . . bump. I'll be performing (solo) at the London Musicians Collective's Guitar Festival next Saturday, the 6th.

Susan, is that the only time you're playing in London? I'd love to go, but I'm doing a gig myself that night - sadly.
I'm a big fan of Resonance FM!

David,

I'l be playing Sunday afternoon at . . . (I think) the 12 Bar Club with saxophonist Caroline Kraabel, and (I believe) bassist Jonathan Edwards. Also, I may sit in with BJ Cole at his gig with the London Improvisors Orchestra later that night. If you can make it, please say hello.

I'm also a fan of Resonance radio.

Hi Susan,
Just like to say (again) how much I enjoyed your show at the 12 Bar. (And apologies for my shuffling inarticulacy when I came up to talk to you afterwards!)

David,

Your "shuffling inarticulacy" was indeed very articulate. It was good to meet you and talk with you at the 12 Bar (interesting place). Also, thanks for the record you gave me; it's beautiful, and as (hopefully very)soon as I can find a record player, I'm going to listen to it.

I look forward to the day when I can hear you play.

Take care,
Susan
