We had a great day and evening also. We weren't there five minutes when I won a drawing for a coffee mug and then a little later my wife won a Connie Smith CD which has been playing most of the day. I met a few players that are fairly close to where we live. Bob Knight in Bowling Green and Buddy Elkin in Cave City and made some new friends. Good folks! This was our first jam and we really enjoyed the wonderful playing and meeting some great people. I am looking forward to soon becoming a member of the Northern Tennessee SGA. |

This was really a great time. You could not ask for better playing and social time anywhere anyplace..
Laid back, informal..just a great time. I even learn't something from Russ..
pick stings 4,1,3,1 stomp them thar' BC pedals on an assending scale and back again..slow, then quick, then faster, then warp speed..(good grief)
I didn't even have to put the cats out while practicing..they pretty much ran out on there own...
Thanks to all the guys in Nville for a great show..and like "Ahhnnald" says..
"I'll be back"...

Yes we all had a great day and evening of music at the NTSGA Super Jam.
I got to meet THE VICE MAYOR of Bristol VA.
Harold Leonard he was down there with Steve Leonard & Brian Adams.
Good to see Tony Prior, Bill Crook, Wayne Smith, Joe & Brenda Turner and Roy Rossetta.
Mike Johnson did a set with his band, man what a player, "I never go around Mirrows" was just great.
See this Weekend in Bristol

This young man in the picture above is a very good player and much more than that, in talking to him he is a very fine young gentleman and will be a credit to the steel community.

Hi, Don's wife Sheila butting in here. I really enjoyed the show. I was knocked over by Joe Wright. He was my biggest surprise that day. I was really impressed. It was really good talking to Doug Jernigan, Jean Hughey and Don and Hazel Helms again. Can't wait till April 2005 to see them again in Benton, Il. I had a really great day in Donelson.
