Congratulations to our friend and Brother, Ron Elliott
It's been a long time coming, And know one deserves it more, I know this 65 year old man shed a tear when Scotty called his name.
Bro. Ron, we love ya man.
And I know Bro. Don is looking down saying "Way to go Hoss"

Looking forward to seeing you at the Hall of Fame Show in Louisville on Oct. 11 as a Hall of Fame member.

Danny

Please allow me to offer my congratulations as well. I really didn't know who Ron Elliott was until I saw him perform at the ISGC about ten years ago. I was blown away by the taste of his arrangements, his mastery of the instrument, and his heart-felt beliefs in the spirit of the patriotic and religious songs he played. The man is iconic, in my opinion.

Congratulations, Ron, on an award well-deserved.

This one is pretty close to home here guys. I've been filling in for Ron and swapping gigs for the last 3-4 years now and that's just pretty darn cool to be inducted in The Steel Guitar Hall of Fame. A nicer guy you'll never meet too!

Congratulations to Ron. I've enjoyed his playing at the convention for years.

When they announced his name at the induction I was surprised that he wasn't already in, I took it for granted that he was. Then I just thought "It's about time".

Very Happy Very Happy I WOULD LIKE TO ADD MY CONGRATULATIONS TO RON ON HIS INDUCTION TO THE STEEL GUITAR HALL OF FAME. I RECALL SOME YEARS BACK AT THE ST LOUIS CONVENTION WHEN RON MENTIONED THAT THE COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME HAS RECENTLY INDUCTED RAY PRICE INTO THAT HALL AND RON HAD SAID "IS IT ABOUT TIME OR WHAT?" WELL FOR RON "IS IT ABOUT TIME OR WHAT". HIS PLAYING HAS INSPIRED ME MANY TIMES WHEN I THOUGHT ABOUT GIVING IT UP. AND IT'S BEEN MENTIONED ABOUT HIS SENSE OF PATRIOTISM AND LOVE OF SONGS WITH A MELODY WHICH IS WHAT I THINK DRIVES A LOT OF US TO EMULATE THE PLAYERS SUCH AS RON WHO CAN EXPRESS THAT THROUGH THE INSTRUMENT THAT WE SO DEARLY LOVE. I TIP MY HAT TO YOU SIR, A MOST DESERVING AWARD. Very Happy Very Happy
