Because of a sudden medical condition (blood clot, which means I can't lift and ship for a while) I've been having to revise some terms of instruments I've had listed for sale. It occurred to me I don't recall coming across anyone on the Forum who mentioned being an MD. My own doctor plays steel (used to play guitar with the Chambers Brothers) but isn't a member here.
Any doctors (or nurses) in the house? _________________ "Gopher, Everett?" |

I dated a nurse once, does that count? Did you really expect serious answers? |

Yeah, there's a few docs around here. I think they're laying low. Turns out folks think that if you went to med school (or grad school), you couldn't possibly be a decent steel player. But, when you think about it, it ain't brain surgery! _________________ www.JimCohen.com

I know of a couple of others on the forum who are Dr's, but they probably want to retain their privacy for the same reason Dr's and Lawyers hate family reunions, because of all the free advice they are asked to dispense. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |
