Ok, I can't get this song out of my head.. I have the youtube version by fellow forum member David Hartley, and it is nothing short of amazing.. I have it in my favorites, and watch it at least 2-3 times a day. What I was wondering is if anyone could tab out a lick from it? It's between 1:40 and 1:45 of the song. I know to all of you it's just a little nothing but to me it's a great little lick to learn and make myself feel like I've accomplished something on this darn thing.

David has several OBS videos on YouTube.

We need the link or exact YouTube title.

William, Dave has the instructional dvd out for sale with 17 pages of tab for orange blossom, takes you by the hand step by step, note by note through the whole song, on of the best, easiest to follow I have seen yet, with quick page reference back to where you want to be without listening to the parts you are not ready to hear. My wife surprised me with the dvd, guess she got tired of hearing my slopy playing on that song!!!! good luck, doyle

Thank you very much, I will contact Mr Hartley about the DVD. As to the version on Youtube, it was I believe the first one, simply titled " Orange Blossom Special " This is going to be FUN...

I'm sure you'll learn a lot from David's tab.

Here's a link to his page, for others that might be interested:

I've tabbed the 5 second lick that you originally requested. You are correct that it can be useful in many places. I think of it as a "filler". Similar to what a fiddle might do. Basically a vamp in A resolving to E. (five to one)
