I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. Mentioning food, no matter how far the distance, and there will be a tremendous guy called Fred. He's got his nose to the wind and already he can taste that potato soup. Just think what else...there's Randy's barbeque and who knows what Donna and Dana will cook up. I can see visions of that little kitchen and serving area now. Those friendly people standing behind the counter, willingly and anxiously waiting to serve. Even if you don't like steel guitar music, the food is reason enough to come. But of course, we LOVE that steel guitar music and all the members in the band. Make your trip on Route 66!There's always a sweet attitude at this Kansas Steel Convention. Everyone makes you feel so welcome!! Can't wait!!

Boy I like the way people talk about our little club. I can't wait to taste Fred's tator soup and all the good cooking of the other ladies. It's even more fun for me to get behind that counter and help serve that good food to others. All the while you can hear that great steel guitar music playing in the background.

We always look forward to the Sunday morning service with Jerry and Venda Hanley. Such a sweet spirit from people who can really play and sing.

Hope I didn't get too gooshy, I just get really excited about the KSGA Show every year. Can't wait to see all the good folks who come out to be with us.

What a great show !!! Barbara and I are excited about being back in Baxter Springs again this year. I'd like to thank the KSGA for inviting me back to do the keyboard work for the show. We're looking forward to music, fellowship and great food with all of our good friends in that part of the country.
We'll see ya in Baxter Springs pretty soon,
....Roy and Barbara

I haven't talked to Jody in quite a while. Nobody showed any interest when I posted several months ago. The only time that was available was on Friday morning. So it doesn't look like we will have one this year.

Hey Guys! Very Happy I appreciate the invitation, but it looks pretty bleak for me on my end this year. I have a lot of things going this year, and finding the time and money to come this year will be difficult.

I would gladly do a seminar if I had enough confirmed attendees, but I don't at this point, and I can't afford to do it otherwise. I would just come and play the show if I could, but I've got too many other irons in the fire, and not enough money in the bank right now. Laughing

Hope the show goes great for ya'll and I know I will be missing a fun time. Maybe next year it will work out, I hope so.

Thanks again, JC

Ray -

Sounds like a great line up for you this year. I appreciate the invite, however, we are booked in Oklahoma City (Toby Keith's - Gee I Love This Bar And Grill Resturant) that weekend and will have to pass this time. Maybe next year. Have a great show and wishing you the best in the mean time.

Dana, I think you are confused about Fred and the tater soup,he only eats it,not cook it.

Donna, hoping to head that way a few days early and take care of that fishing trip we talked about.Jerry and Dixie can fend for themselves.
I caught a double on a Tara Puppy clear last Saturday, fun getting them on the boat, see you guys in Oct.
Ray

P.S.Ray, Dixie and I will be there,I'll callyou

Hey Ray, I found out Uncel Fred can cook as good as he eats. Not only does he make that great tator soup, he also makes a mean pot of baked beans.
