I attempted to post a very flowery post that did not get on. Hope this one gets through.

After returning from the Florica Steel Guitar Club jam last night I am looking forward to the Manasota Steel Guitar Club jam Tuesday July 21. Just can't get enough of the steel guitar and dobro music

I am beating Blake and Skip to the posting!!

Hope to see Laurie and old what's his name at the next jam. We have missed them.

Clyde, Skip & everyone! First of all, we would like to know if Tom is OK. We have been worried about him.

As to us coming down, Roy has been in the hospital twice in the last months. Although he is doing much better now, they think he may have a gallbladder problem and will run a test Wed. It will be a few days before we know the results I'm sure. We miss everyone and we pray that God will help him to get better soon.

We are going to St. Louis, God willing and if he needs gallbladder surgery it will be after we get back. He is so looking forward to going up there & seeing everyone.

We love you all & pray you will have a good turn out. Say hello to everyone for us. Blake, Mildred etc.

Keep him in prayers please.

Hugs, Laurie

HI Laurie and Roy - Hope Roy's tests turn out good - let us know when you find out. As to Tom - well, Tom appears to be back to his old self - feeling good and 'warbling' as good as always. We're really glad to have him back, that's for sure. Ya'll come down when you can and take care of yourselves.

Laurie
Prayers will come in handy, but that tough old bird will pull through and we expect to see him in St. Louis and, more importantly, at a future Manasota Steel Guitar club jam!! We've missed youall (southern term).

Hey Ron
Tell your "some people" to come on down to the Bradenton Eagles for a good dose of steel and dobro music-I'll be looking for them.

Nick
Looking forward to the re-appearance of the Reed brothers.

Danny
I think Nick has better sense than to "liberate" Lynn's Hat. Has to to with Lynn's size and Nick's fear (good sense).

Blake
How about a little sanity to this post. Skip and I have done the best we can (not very good) but we try

Clyde and Tom (but he doesn't know it)

O.K.- Last call for the Manasota Steel Guitar Club jam, meeting or whatever. Looking forward to seeing everyone Tuesday evening.

John: The checks in the mail for all those nice words. Just like Tom and I coached you.

Jack: I'm not sure about your post? If it was to advise (warn) us that you will be hear, all I can say is GREAT!!

Blake: You need to be more forceful (verbose, or lengthy) in your posts. I'm afraid some of us mouthy (long winded) (not me of course!!??) posters are taking the wind out of your sails. Just make sure Mildred is available for roadie duties.

Clyde and Tom

Please don't blame Tom for any of the above. I composed it all myself without Tom's input

Well it looks like I'm the first to report on our fantastic jam. All the pickers got about as much time as they could stand. We had to run them off at the end of the night-They just wouldn't stop pickin'.

Thanks to semi regulars Jack Dougherty and John King. Special thanks to new member Richard Meyers for his pickin' and great vocals.

How about that Skip on guitar-just gets better each month.

Don't want to forget "no show" Perry on the drums. Maybe next month.

Our new cineamatographer Blake Hawkins was on post and we think (hope)turned out a good product.

A special thanks to our audiance Mildred Hawkins!!
A little short on roadie work this month, but a very attentive audiance.

Hey Dave quit thinkin' and come on down to Florida. We would love to have you.

Until next month CUL (little ham talk) see you later.

Looking forward to next month!

Clyde and the other guy (Tom)
