Hi everyone
I would like to put a couple of additional pulls on my EMCI, I would like to raise the 7th string F# to G on a RKL and a B to Bb on a LKV so I need all the parts to do this, who may possibly have these EMCI parts or parts suitable to do the job, I am also looking for a bracket to fit on the pedal bar so I can use an Emmons volume pedal with a fixed pin, all help will be greatly appreciated,
Regards

Eddie, contact Bud Carter, he was the designer of the EMCI then went off to design the Carter. I'm sure he will help you out...903-778-2051 ..That's his number.

If I remember right Pedalmaster steel guitar parts should work in that guitar. Also Jim Palenscar at
http://steelguitarsofnc.com/dotnetnuke/
should be able to help. He has rebuilt quite a few EMCI steels.
What you are talking about is a very easy job you should be able to handle with the right parts and a little advise. _________________ Bob |

I think Jim Flynn at Lonestar Steels might be worth a call too -- he uses MCI fretboards and bits for his steels if I remember correctly. Try this:

Eddy, I have an EMCI and am thinking of making the same changes. Were you able to locate parts? |

Jim Palanscar replaced a knee lever on my EMCI before he shipped it to me, so I know he can do what you want. |
