I'm confused about the measurement of a 24" scale, i alway's thought that you have to measure from the center of the changer shaft the the center of the nut bridge shaft...but i heard someone say that you have to measure from the center of the changer shaft to the inside of the nut roller for a 24" scale , so if someone has a 24" scale and would be kind enough to measure it and post the results i would appreciate it very much . _________________ Comeau SD10 4x5, Comeau S10 3x5, Peavey Session 500,Fender Telecaster,Fender Stratocaster, Fender Precision,1978 Ovation Viper electric. The scale length is measured from the points of contact, ie as Richards post.
If someone has a scale length of 24 inches from the centre of the changer to the inside of the roller nut, then the actual scale length is going to be somewhat more than 24 inch, probably approacing 24 1/4 inch. |

...then they don't know how to measure. Scale lengths are NEVER measured that way. |

I have a Sho-Bud with a 24 inch scale. It is exactly 24 inches from center of nut rollers to center of changer. If it were otherwise, it would not be a 24 inch scale. |
