I am trying to add a 9th floor pedal to an Emmons PP. The hole in the apron that the cross-shaft should slid into is mucked up with flocking and the shaft won't go in. Any suggestions on the best method to clean out the hole?

Paul, how about a drill bit the same size as the hole, or 1/64" smaller. Stick it in the hole and turn it back and forth with your fingers
