just got in a m.s.a classic xl d-10 would like some info on this guitar SN# 2C5975 i am going to rebuild it for a friend of mind.

Paul.....Serial number 2C5975 shows to be a walnut double 10 Vintage XL which left the factory with 8 pedals and 4 knee levers. It was originally shipped to Knowles Music......location unknown. The specific date of birth was not entered into record, however I would think it was produced about the middle of 1978.

I'm sure you will make the guitar play as good as new. Please tell your friend I welcome him into the MSA family.
