Some of you know my friend Kevin Owens a steel player in Nashville. Several years ago Kevin brought a Sho-Bud permenant guitar to me that was basicly in parts. He left it with me and told me if I could get it back together that I could use it as long as I desired. I got the guitar together and have played it a lot. I ran into Kevin when I was in Nashville last November and attempted to return the guitar to him. At that time he told me to hang on to it. Long story short I recieved a note via myspace from a man that I don't know stating that if I claim to be such a christian and a preacher that I should do the right thing and return Kevin's guitar. He gave me Kevin's number in his note. This person also threatened to give me some bad press in some publication he is affiliated with. I have called this number several times and got a message in Kevin's voice to leave a message. I've done so three times and Joan called and left a message. I have not heard from Kevin I am becoming concerned. All of you know that I'm not nor have I ever claimed to be a preacher. You also know that I am honest. If anyone can help me contact Kevin I want to return his guitar to him. I'm very disappointed that this man that I don't know has written me and pointed a finger at me that I might be less than honest with Kevin concerning his guitar. Please don't thrash this man it seems as though he is trying to help Kevin, I just don't think that he has been asked to help. Condensed that means butt out buddy! I am asking for any help I can get to return Kevin's guitar.

I'm on it for ya brother.
Nobody knows Kevin as well as I...
And if the dude is saying you should return it; on behalf of Kevin...than he's truly mistaken...cause Kevin is NOT that way at all.
Kevin takes time away; and usually doesn't speak to many; until he returns....He shall return and we'll get the answer from him shortly.

Johnny, I saw Kevin playing at the Preston Hotel about 3 weeks ago, so he is around and doing OK. I'll try to contact him or get you a number.

Ricky & Boo, thanks a bunch for the help. Last time I saw Kevin it seemed as though he was due for break. I'll keep trying. Hey to the girls too.

I anyone gets in touch with Kevin, please tell him
to call me. I haven't heard from him in a while and
miss the stuck in the 60's ole cuss. Johnny, let he
who is without throw the first. Kevin would never have let you have the guitar if he didn't trust you.

I spoke with Taco last night. He has been sick so has not returned messages. He is aware that folks are trying to get in touch. He was at the Preston Hotel and sounded great. Clinton Gregory and Rusty Rhoads sat in and it was a most enjoyable set.
