I like some latin music and wanted to try to play some instrumentals of latin music, especially fast tempo type, is there any tab music I could play on the steel using a latin beat? |

Hi Steven,
I recorded a Django Reindhart song and you can listen
to the clip at the undernoted link.

Another that comes to mind with a lesser degree of
difficulty is Sabor A Mi.
There are many others of course. Good Luck.

Steven: I don't do a lot "Latin" music per se, but when my students ask to learn something with a spanish-flare, I teach them Blue Spanish Eyes (which is also a good study of scales) and Spanish Harlem. If & when I do a medley with these tunes, I add It's Now or Never (old Elvis tune); its not Latin, but it plays well with a Latin feel. Hope this helps. Regards, |

If you want the tab, give me your snail-mail address & I will mail you a copy of what I give my students. For $10 I can give you a two track CD: one track with my interpretation from the tab & second track with a rhythm track for you to play along. Good luck & keep pickin' |
