Apparently lots of steelers like to transport their steels set up and caseless when they drive.

How about when they fly...?

You gotta love this ShoBud Airlines promo shot of Jimmy Day with his cool narrowly-spaced, wide-pedal ShoBud!

The picture is from the new book by Marty Stuart "Country Music : The Masters."

Lots of cool pictures of steelers, like this one of Don Wardon:

Dunno if his stand up steel would fit set up in the back of a Prius...?

Pete Drake used to put "Goldie" standing up in the back of an uncovered pickup, rain or shine.

It would if you put the rear seats down.

The guys with Jimmy Day are the Calhoun Twins. You can still see them with Lynn Owsley at ISGC, or in the lobby of the hotel at 2am, serenading some babes... or whoever else is standing around. Laughing Nice guys, too.
