I'm seeking a lapsteel player in DC/MD/VA/PA area w/ skill in 'gritty' rock/blues (a la ben harper, david lindley, etc.) for lessons. I've been playing C6 country/swing but have never ventured down the road of overdriven blues/rock.) Thanks. Peter |

Pete, I play blues (overdriven and clean) on slide guitar, Dobro, lap steel and pedal steel. Check out our CD (see below) to hear some of it. Playing blues is technically simple - it's the feeling that counts. If you ever get up this far, I could show you everything I got (tunings, licks and equipment) in a single lesson (I ain't that deep). |

Hey Peter, if you're in Aspen Hill I'm just a few minutes away. Not that I'm an expert blues-rock player, but I can share what I know. E-mail me with your phone number and I'll give you a call.
