Please add to this list:

1. They wear black, and we all know black "has that tone" that is highly sought after.

2. They are proven winners (5 rings in 6 trips to the Super Bowl ); we are winners & some of us wear the horseshoe rings imbedded with diamond chips.

3. Solid defensive team, not overly showy & offensive, again like most steel guitarists.

4. Disciplined work habit and ordinary dudes as individuals, again like us attempting to learn a difficult instrument

5. They have had only three coaches in 40 years for stability.......rock solid as are we.

6 THE NAME "Steelers" is highly compatible.

7. ............. your turn.... but be nice please steve t

Pittsburgh will probably win the Super Bowl. They are first in most areas from what little I understand and obviously they are tough. "Defense and a good running game wins championships" I have also heard. For all you brother steel players, if you want the Steelers, I wish the best for you. But as a BIG Buffalo Bills fan and the Bills FanClub president, they remain the enemy. Maybe someday we will be there again when we get rid of Losman. My best once again. Respectfully, Zeke.

Although I'm originally from Pa (Mechanicsburg), I'll be rooting for the "underdog" Cards. My Franklin has a Rosewood mica covering and the Red color of the Cards more closely matches my steel Cool Laughing

Uhh, let's see...overweight, pushy, egocentric, poor communication skills, considered by many others as "prima donnas". Need more?

All I can say is enjoy the NFL while you can cause the government and everything else including the NFL is going to have to sell out to Wal-Mart to survive this economic crisis.

All the United States of Wal-Mart workers and the NFL of Wal-Mart players will all be fired and rehired as part time employees with no benefits. That should make the tickets a lot cheaper.

LOOK AT THE BRIGHT SIDE YOU CAN GO TO A PRO FOOTBALL GAME AND DO ALL YOUR SHOPPING AT THE SAME TIME.

I don't want to be accused of taking sides here so I'll just say.

You have a team who plays entertaining fun to watch football in a sunny place and a team who plays ugly football in a cold snow up to your butt place.
I THINK THEY ARE GOING TO MELT YOUR SNOWMAN.

Every season I put on my Oakland Raiders cap for a new start. A third of the way thru the season It's turned backwards so people can't see the name. By two thirds it's been stomped on and jumped on and thrown in the trash.

In the 60's we'd go to Cleveland and see Leeeroy and the Browns. Pittsburgh was the enemy.

Go Cards.

When I became a Steeler fan, Jimmy Finks was the quarterback, Fran Rogel was at fullback, Lynn Chadnois and Ray Matthews were the halfbacks, Elbie Nickel at end, and of course, Ernie Stautner on defense....let's see, how about 55 years ago....eenie, meenie...who will I root for next weekend? I have been a steel guitar fan longer than that...thanks to the late Abbie Neal.

I have lived in the Cleveland area almost my entire life. I AM A STEELERS FAN!!! How can you root for a team that executes worse plays than some High school teams. I coached a Pee Wee team, for most players, 9 to 12 years old. Had a defense like the "steel curtain". Scored more touchdowns than the guess, Bxxxxs. And my kids didn't get paid millions, to act like they don't know where the end zone is. GO STEELERS

Cleveland really has not had a team since the old Dog Pound of the mid 80 to early 90's, orwhen then had people like Brian Sipes or Leroy Kelly and the great Jim Brown. Hopefully they will turn it around in 09'. I liked em' when they had Tim Couch,(as you can see I'm UK fan from the Bayouland.)

Of course all pedal steel players should root for the Steelers! It's a natural, despite where you live! No other team in sports has our namesake in it. No Tele's, no Horns (though there is a Jazz), no Strats, no Pianos's, etc! But there is the Steelers and Steeler nation! They should have a pedal steel on their helmets, a push pull, as James Harrison pushes and pulls Kurt Warner apart!Even Larry Fitzgerald was a Steeler fan when he played for Pitt and practiced in Heinz field. Go Steelers! Here we go for the six pack!!(six rings)!!We're all pumped in Western PA!!
