One of my new Peavey PX-300's Decided to Go out of this world with a bang Saturday morning causing my dog to jump about 3 feet in the air. Loaded it up and made a 189 mile drive to Smithfield NC to Tarheel Music where I had bought it 7 days before. Rick Mc Duffie's Courteous Employees made every effort to make the situation right.
End result - I was in the store less than 15 minutes and on my way back to South Mills NC with a brand new PX 300. These folks do business in a no hassle manner. Refreshing in this day and time.

That's the kind of service we all expect but unfortunately rarely do we receive it. Rick McDuffie is one of the finest men I know and I know from personal experience that his staff at Tarheel Music can solve a problem even when Rick may be unavailable. I urge you all to drop in and see him in Smithfield, NC for all your steel guitar needs or other musical needs too. He is a full line/full service company with the best of reputations. You can also visit him online at www.tarheelmusic.com. Rick also carries my line of pac-a-seats and I am proud to be associated with him.

Ray, did you say Tarhell?? Sounds like a hot place, and I wouldn't want to go there.
That's TARHEEL, boys. As in North Carolina (hurricane alley).
John, better tie everything down up there. Looks like we're in for it again.
Peace,
Rick[This message was edited by Rick McDuffie on 15 September 2003 at 02:50 PM.] |

I want to echo the good words about Rick McDuffie. He sent me a message that he is in possession of my Marlen PSG that was lost by Northwest airlies. Rick you are to be commended for your honesty. I still don't have my steel back but maybe I can make the airlines pay.

And Gere said Northwest AirLIES. Could these be Freudian slips?
Thanks, Gere. Hopefully the airline will do the right thing, too.

Rick, looks like the Northwest AIRLIES is still not budging from their first stand. Looks like I will just have to tuck my tail and run away. At least i have a brand new GFI just like the Marlen was and the GFI was given to me by a dear friend of many years, Bobby Hicks. If he gets over your way shake his hand. Thanks,
Gere |
