is it possible to add a vertical knee lever to msa classic with standard knee lever hardware or do i need to purchase additional parts thanks |

No, you'll need some additional parts. The regular knee levers, when folded, are too close to the body of the guitar to be used as verticals. You'll need some sort of extended lever, or an extended mounting, to bring the lever down and allow some adjustment. (You may be able to buy the parts you need from Tom Bradshaw.) |

Donny is right. But not being able to find parts to do it the right way.. I used regular MSA
parts and when I had it adjusted low enough to use, which is to low for the lever to fold
down enough to close the case... I remove the lever when I put the steel in the case and
reattach it when I reassemble it. Its only one more step in the setup of the steel and I have
it to use in spite of not finding the parts he describes... It only took a bolt and a wing nut..
Just a thought...

I do the same as Fred but use a pin and hitch pin clip. Linkon makes parts that are close to MSA. They have always been helpful to me. They are in the links under manufacturer's |
