What a treat I had to see Jim playing with Redd (with the band "Haybale" at the Continental Club in Austin on Sunday night. You talk about trading some hot licks! It is amazing what both of those guys can do . Jim was playing his Bethel, and even with a pedal tuning problem, it sounded great. I think one of the pullers on his C6th neck slipped or something. I could tell it was bothering him, but it didn't put a dent in his playing at all. Redd is one the the best guitar players I have ever heard. He makes that Tele do some amazing things. He is playing in Austin quite a bit. Go see him, and you won't be sorry
