Yes I did.
They had a Hardway 8 string on the floor and I was impressed with the tone and build quality. But, I am not an 8 string player. All 8 strings feel too tight for me - in terms of string spacing. _________________ Gerald Ross

Those Hardway's would probably look/sound gooder if they used a stud/wrap-around tailpiece or a standard bridge and better string-thru design.
But at a grand? No thanx! |

Maybe he should have tried out the "Duckway" lap steels? : )

I have an original Airline Rocket, and it sounds mucho "Fat!" If I got one of the new ones, I pop in a Lollar "Chicago-style" pup. |
