Greetings, can someone recommend an instructor in the Seattle area?
I'm making some progress on my own since buying my first pedal steel 3 months ago but I'm guessing there is no substitute for the personal interaction.
Other recommendations for instruction material welcome, too.
The Steel Guitar Forum looks like a wonderful community and I'm looking forward to getting involved.
Thank you!

Hey Bob,

How's it going? What kind of steel did you get? New or used? If you have some specific questions, maybe I could help - call me. If you want to come by and check my steel out or you'd like me to come by and take a look at yours, let me know.
Dan Tyack, former Microsoft-ie is playing tonight at the Mars on Eastlake ( he announced it here somewhere ). You might email him to see if he know of teachers.
If you don't get any response, you might re-submit this with the title "Teacher needed in Seattle" - maybe that would catch some more eyes.

Good luck
Fraser
