Few people have taken the time to notice that Julia Child was actually as devoted to Hank Williams as she was to Escoffier. Ever notice how she opened each and every show with her cleverly adapted version of:

Hey, good lookin',
whaaaaaaatcha got cookin'?
How's about cookin' something up with me?

A sly adaptation of hers, admittedly, but then that was part of her genius.

(And, er, well, okay, yeah - guilty as charged. I've got waaaaay too much time on my hands this morning...)

YEP.

I strained my wrist. I can only hold the bar about 30 minutes at a time before it gets to hurtin', so yeah..I got time on my hands. I guess I could get some work done, but what fun would that be?

Julia Child is just someone with the initials 'JC'. Since Jim indicated that 'JC' wasn't Jimmy Crawford, we were of course left to wonder who....

Just a little playful teasing, Buck - nothing more.

I feel like the bed-ridden patient in the hospital, desperately pressing the nurse-call button over and over again, but the nurse never comes...
