Jody & the band will be in Washington D. C. next week beginning Wed. 6/25 thru Sun. 29th. We are playing the Smithsonian Folk Arts Festival on the mall. That's all the info I have but I imagine you guys up there know all the details. I just hate flying my guitar. Maybe I'll rent one there. (it's a thought) I hope to see some of you guys there.

BTW I'm having another surgery July 7th, you prayers are appreciated.

Hi Johnny, sorry I can't make Washington, but we'll be looking forward to seeing you guys at the Llano Opry on July 12th. Hope the surgery goes well. Don.

Johnny

That will be a great trip. Go see everything you can. I am guessing it will be an outdoor event. The crowds are largest in the summer.
Y'all will be adding to the culture and history. I get goosebumps just thinking about being there.

I have a MSA Classic SS, maple 3&4, Emmons setup, that sounds like it should. It is lighter than my M3 Milly. The case is smaller and lighter also.
You are welcome to use it.

Were you just at the County Line in Lubbock with Jody? I was in town and almost made it out there, but my Mom/driver (I'm a nondriving longtime NYer) is getting up there and a little leery of late night travel. I'm starting to think about kicking myself in the nether regions......if i wasn't in the final throes of recording I'd come down to see ya in DC, but it's not gonna work out. Have a good gig, and best wishes for the operation. If you're ever in the NYC area, you know you've got a guitar to play.
