i always get this confused ,i want to make the lever that lowers my E's have a short travel(really short if possible )do i move the rods closer to the body of my stell and then adjust the lever itself or do i move them farther away from the body and adjust the lever travel? my Mullen has a really short travel like this and i want my williams to do the same.thanks in advance for any help you can oaffer.

Further from the body on the bellcranks, closer to the body on the changer for a shorter but stiffer throw.

Jim's right on the money.you can have short travel , But you have to be willing to put up with a stiff lever feel.
