Most definitely! The Horseshoe pickup can't be seen because the seller is a bad photographer.

I'm bidding on this Mercedes-Benz - so far no bids!

yes, this lap steel

from a seller with 280 negative feedbacks is a holy grail Ric.

and this:

is the best-in-show golden retriever at last year's Westminster.

Not being snide at you----just my way of saying that there's nothing to see here.

The only thing that makes me wonder, since it also states that the guitar is brand new, is whether the Rickenbacker company has joined the market in putting their name on a generic Asian lap steel. Either the seller pulled the name out of his...hat...(with a couple of hundred negs, there's not a whole lot of reputation on the line) or it's really a Ric....they figure that they can enhance their brand by adopting a cheapo line of guitars.

Jon -- you forgot to mention that the Golden Retriever you pictured is after a 4-pack a day smoking habit for 7 years (well, 49 in dog years).

Kids -- don't smoke!

Oh Well

Todd----

A) The lawyers for the shareholders of Phillip Morris (R. Wee, Scumm & Howe) wish to state that cigarettes are good for you---otherwise, why would we sell them?

B) The lawyers for Lassie, this doggy's mommy (Hungadunga, Hungadunga, Hungadunga & McCormack) wish to remind you that she told Rin Tin Tin here that he was the most beautiful Golden Retriever that ever was. And so he is.

HAVE YOU NO SHAME, SIR?

I've had the same problem with some of my ebay listings. Without selecting a brand name from the menu, sometimes one will appear in my listing and I have to "Revise your item" and remove it. Cheap no name knives have been listed as "Case".
I sent the seller an email through ebay asking him to remove the Rickenbacker brand name from the listing. We'll see how it goes.
