I understand Jim was elected to the Texas Hall of Fame this year. I wish I could have been there.....I would have even held his bag of potato chips while he was on stage. I know he goes back to the early LA Hayride.

Jim was the guy who started me playing steel...or maybe I should blame him Anyhow, I couldn't be happier for him for this well deserved award.

I got to pick with Jim last Friday night. (Jim picked and I tried). I am trying to get a picture of the award and get it posted........my ignorance is what is preventing the posting. |
