ok......if you clicked here to find out what that tuning is.....you're worse off than I........

but I do find it fairly amazing that this tuning has been taken beyond any perceived limits.....

perhaps if Claude Brownel were still with us, we might have heard it on the Alkire tuning......

Howard, I have a friend, Jimmie Nickols, that had a one string steel. It was about 12 or 14 inches long and had one knee lever. Some guys in Montana made it for him as a joke but they did a good job on it, it looked good. I don't know what tuning he used, or how many finger picks either. Laughing
