My power supply for my Hilton pedal is bad, the wires finally broke off. I found a Motorola:
Input AC120 60hz 11w
Output DC12v 450ma
The center lug on plug is positive
Will this one work as a replacement??
If not let me know where to find the correct power supply. Thanks in advance. |

That one won't work, you need both plus and minus 12VDC. |

Jack,
This power supply has both plus and minus. The + is pointing to the inside of the plug and the - is pointing to the outside. This is on the little diagram on the side of the power supply.
Thanks,

That's not both positive and negative voltages. That is only one voltage and the diagram is showing you which is the positive lead and which is the negative lead.
On a power supply that has both positive and negative voltages you will have 3 leads (connections), the postive voltage lead, the negative voltage lead and the ground lead. |
