Okla. Steel Guitar Assoc. 8th Annual Memorial Day Convention, May 24 - 26, 2002. Darrell McCall in concert Saturday Night, also Dickie Overbey, Bobby Flores and Justin Trevino among our guests.

John & Don, You guys go to great lengths to have a great show. This show is a must. I
can say "Amen" to Jr's comment on playing the show when I'm 80, however, I am a lot closer to that than Jr. Anyway, don't miss it. Thanks to OSGA for providing this show. |

We're looking forward to having you Jody. We've been "advised" by the hotel, they are receiving numerous requests for rooms, and they are quite pleased with the reservation activity they are receiving concerning the OSGA show. Get your rooms early!!!!!!!

I just spoke with hotel management and was told as of 2:00 pm, 4-26-02 there are only 10 rooms available for reservations for the Memorial Day Convention. The selection is somewhat limited also. They stated: "you folks have sold it out again"! The overflow will be directly across the street at the Hilton Gardens and rates are somewhere or approximately in the $99. per night range they think. There is NO discount at the overflow site.

But don't let that across the street $99 rate scare you off.Within 10 minutes of the airport there are Best Westerns,Holiday Inn Express,and I think a Days Inn with rates in the $50's,maybe even less on the week end.
Try Garnett Ave exit off of IH 244.
I am not from Tulsa but work there often and use the Best Western which is a very decent working mans motel both price and quality wise. |
