My wife was laughing at me last night when it played on Acadamy Awards telecast. She said "you look just like the RCA dog". Guess I was listening with a funny tilt to my head trying to figure out what kind of steel it was!!! LOL

Well....
I know the headquarters for JCPenney is is Plano, TX (north of Dallas) and I also know that Milo Deering is first call on most all the jingles and TV adds in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for Steel and Fiddle.
If I was a betting man...I would put my money on Milo Deering.
I have not heard or seen the commercial yet. I don't even know if they recorded it in Dallas. They used to do radio jingles in Dallas.
I could be wrong...but just putting the logical pieces together here.

i think alison(?)krauss is better without that old withered up ex-rock dude!
greg is a good working player who has gotten some great opportunities.
i saw him recently with the crazed banjo guy, danny barnes. |

I agree Chris. I recently tried to watch the CMT Crossroads show with Plant and Kraus. This is the first Crossroads I have seen that actually stunk so bad I had to turn it off. I love Alison, but that show knocked her down one step in my book. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) .
