Of interest? Is this a tad high-priced? _________________ Steel crazy after all these years.

A similiar bronson didn't sell on ebay for 175.00
The one your looking would be more but that much more?

It is a tad high, but there is NO comparison between the auction guitar and the Elderly piece. They are about $250 high IMO but they'll probably get it, they aren't exactly making them anymore and they are pretty nice instruments. |

They're totally different guitars. A more accurate comparison (to the one at Elderly) would be with something like this:

Looks like Elderly has not cleaned and polished it at all (some prefer that). I am sure it will clean up real well and if it is all there as it seems to be and if the case is original its not priced out of line. If however the pickup does need a rewind as the ad makes reference to, then it's a couple hundred high. As Keith said "They're not making them anymore." _________________ Time flies like an eagle

The one on Ebait is a MOTS covered wood type. Some of us here have a Canadian friend with one like that.
His sounds amazingly good, and it feels like it's made of balsa wood...very light weight.
Certainly no comparison to a brown bakelite model. |

I have a similar one to the e-pay item, and it sounds quite good (nothing on a Supro, however...)
At $175, not too bad... |
