No, no, no, Mike--the way it works is you actually play the song and then post it!!!
I'd like a copy---I've been unable to find any Christmas songs in Leavitt tuning, and my theory hasn't reached the level to where I'm able to arrange and transpose tunes!
Thanks! John

Thanks for making this available, Mike. If anyone is interested in what the Leavitt tuning has to offer, your course is the best way to find out.

Hey Mike,
Thanks for sending it so quick! I played through it several times today and like the harmonic richness. The leavitt tuning really sounds great.
I've been going back and forth with it and other tunings but I think I'll stick with it. I spent some time with a notebook and pen and worked out many chord voicings for it this evening. Figuring out the chord possibilities and the substitutions is important to maximize it. The other key for players to realize is that not every chord voicing will have the root on the bottom... or even have the root in the voicing.
I wish I got to meet and study with Mr Leavitt and yourself when I was at Berklee. At that time I don't think the guitar dept. would have let a french horn major in! |

Since there's been some talk about the Leavitt Tuning, here's a bump in case you want a free tab.
