Tonight, June 1st, the Kevin Fowler Band is hosting a celebration for the 10,000th sale of Kevin's latest CD, "Beer, Bait & Ammo". The celebration will be held at the Broken Spoke, Austin, TX and starts at 9:00PM CST.

I know 10,000 ain't a lot by "big-label" standards but it ain't bad for a self-produced, independently marketed CD.

Come on down to say howdy or heckle me

Keep on pickin'!

And one more thing Glen,10.000 is a lot of records by any standard! It took Jim and I over a week to sell that many on the forum!
You know Jimbeoux, the "finally here" guy, you know, "acceptable tone guy",?
I'm your buddy Glen,

Back atcha Bobbe!

The song/CD title "beer, bait & ammo" refers to what y'all can 'cpect ta find at any self respecting redneck department store (aka) bait shop. Along with BB&A and "everything in between, they gotcher fishin' hooks, an' dirty books, an' a rebel flag hangin' on the wall".... No wimens, tho... they always show up on stage during the shows (see our photos at the website).

Over a week to sell 10,000 on the forum!?! Man! I'd get on b0b about that! Somethin' sounds hinky here!

BTW: Our own forumite Marty Muse did a wonderful job of pickin' on most of the tunes on the CD. Thanks Marty!

Bobby Lee, thanks so much for the congrats....

Keep on pickin'!
