I'm getting ready to order one of the hollow neck RGS's from Marv, so this one is going in order to fund the next one.

This is an 8 string model, and was custom made for me in 2006. As far as I know, it's the only one that Marv has made with a black finish and black fretboard.

These are really GREAT sounding and very, very versatile guitars. I play in an alt-country band (ok, a rock band that has a steel player Cool ) and this baby is a godsend for anyone that needs to play reso at loud volume levels. Does it sound as good as my wooden Dobro? Nope, but it does sound great, and you just couldn't pay me enough to take my Dobro out on a gig and try and keep up with our guitar player and his Dr. Z! I am constantly getting complements on the quality of it's sound. As a bonus, in the "steel" mode, this thing is a great sounding lap steel. But, the grass is always greener, so I'm going to go for one of the full size models.

This is in virtually new condition, but it is important for me to note that there is a very small crack in the finish by the pickup. This is noted in the extra photos that have been posted. Other than that, it's a jewel. More than likely, a quick ship up to Marv would get this taken care of. He's that kind of guy.

New, with the case this is $1300, and you wait at least a couple of months. I'll take $900 plus shipping. Sales are strictly limited to forum members, and I can do Postal Money order, Cashiers Check or PayPal ( with the 3% added in).

Feel free to email with any questions.
