Near-mint condition Sierra 8-string lap steel with hardshell case and George L. Pickup. This model has been described as “a Rickenbacher on steroids” with “sustain for days.” Black and chrome. Serial Number 046, one of the early ones with the rose decal on the upper bout. A beautiful looking and sounding steel guitar. Sounds great through just about any amp. I've discovered I'm a 6-string kind of a guy, so I'm selling this 8-string. $975 plus shipping.

| Did you try playing it as a 6 string by removing the 1st and 8th strings? That may be an option as it is a really well built guitar. |

Get in touch with Rick Aiello and get one of his Pot Belly pickups for your Sierra ....I'll bet you won't give a second thought about selling your Sierra ...You think it sounds good now ? ....Try the Pot Belly ....I've had mine in for a few months , and I STILL love it as much as the day I put it in ...GREAT TONE !!....Jim |

I love the stuff Rick Aiello does, but I gotta have that MusicMan bass.
I've broken my left wrist three times, and can't play a regular scale bass for longer than ten minutes without having to ingest serious pain killers. I make more money playing bass than I do playing any other instrument. I love the MusicMan sound. I need a short-scale. I wan't a six-string (why not?), a MusicMan Silhouette 6-string bass, a beautiful blue.
Besides, I'm having surgery on my left wrist next Tuesday and will need [another] short-scale six-string bass. (I'm hoping my wife is reading over my shoulder.)
Then I can live happily ever after.

I see now about the bass...I had a very early model MusicMan Sting Ray that weighed a TON, but there were not many basses that could hold a candle to it ...It punched like a heavyweight boxer !!...Jim |
