I'm thinking that one ought to also replace any oxygen in the listening environment with something like nitrogen or argon or something. Anybody know of any audiophile scuba gear? Or maybe a diving bell with good headphone options?

This is a new one for me.
I guess you could test the concept with any non-conducting cable support, such as cardboard boxes.
I smell Snake Oil.

You guys laugh all you want... but I gotta tell you, things sounded WAY different after I got the cables off of the floor.
Even the lyrics of songs have changed. I used to think that in Springsteen's version of "Blinded by the Light," he was singing "wrapped up like a douche, another runner in the night."
But after I got the All New Audiophile Speaker Cable Elevators, I could clearly hear that the line was actually "wrapped up like a DEUCE, another runner in the light."
Unfortunately, this makes even less sense than what I originally thought he was saying. "Douche" sort of works in that line, but "deuce?" Sorry, no. Which is why I had to stop using cable elevators... |
