When I was just a young buck in Atlanta GA, I hired on with a band called Cripple Creek. Playing steel guitar in the band was Charles Stephens from Marietta GA. Charles had done and seen it all. 30 years our elder, he added a certain REAL country sound to our fledgling country band. I grew to admire the man for many reasons. Im proud to say that Charles was my friend, and my mentor. He was instrumental in introducing me to this wonderful instrument. Ive lost touch with his widow, Cecilia, and his lovely daughter in the last 5 years or so. As I was looking through old band photographs, I found a picture of him and I....And I remember all the things he taught me, and what a wonderful friend he was...I know how moved he would be to see this post.....Heres to you Charles Stephens...Mickey _________________ ARTIST RELATIONS: MSA GUITARS
